Quinta do Archino has been the Bragança family farm for more than 300 years.
Situated on our 300-year-old family estate, nestled deep in stunning peaceful countryside, hectares of endless sandy tracks to explore, small undulating hills to climb for the best views, surrounded by the smell of Pine and eucalyptus, and yet so close to Lisbon (45 minutes).
In 2004 the head of our family, Francisco de Bragança, who spent three inspirational years in training with Mestre Nuno Oliveira, built a Portuguese School of Classical Dressage and Equestrian Art. Since then he worked to pass on the knowledge and experience taught by his masters and had the privilege and joy of teaching fantastic clients from all corners of the world and some truly special Lusitano horses.
we offer full or half-board accommodation, a range of relaxing pursuits (cycling, walks, culture tours), and equestrian activities. Individual classical dressage lessons, working equitation lessons and competition, and trail riding, in a property blend with the surrounding untouched nature.
You would be most welcome to come to our home, try our horses for yourself, and get a taste of the unique atmosphere and hospitality here in the most beautiful of surroundings at Quinta do Archino.
