Our warmest wishes to our friends for the coming year…. may it be a very happy 2013 for all of you.

Firstly we must thank two of last year’s guests for the beautiful calendar they made, using photos taken during their stay at Quinta do Archino – Claudia and Madeleine from South Africa. As you can see above, it is absolutely perfect to feature in our blogs.

Our big news this month… the official introduction of trail riding on the farm! This was previously only enjoyed by our working pupils and long-term regular guests, but, with the arrival of three new horses, we are now able to offer this fabulous opportunity to all. We have also been expanding our vegetable gardens and making ‘home’ improvements for our happy chickens and ducks…so that most of our food is prepared using produce from our own farm.
