It’s been such a busy few months here… it’s time we caught up with the news !!!…

We have had some much needed rain showers recently, with glorious sunshine and rainbows in between, casting the beautiful, atmospheric light, which is so unique to Portugal, on the now greener landscape… a truly magical time to visit.

Our very good friends, the Fado Marialva – namely Manuel da Camara, Rodrigo Pereira, and Francisco Martins – regularly drop in to entertain us with their music. One such occasion was captured on film by an American company,

House Hunters International : Home & Garden Television – HGTV.com. The film shows a dressage lesson – gifted to a guest on her birthday by her husband – the customary cheese, wine and culinary delights served afterwards and the impromptu fado concert which ensued…we will let you know when it hits the screen !
